Bersih 2.0 At Sydney

This was a Beautiful day, with the yellow sun rising ..i started with cleaning my garden as bersih had very basic meaning to me. Got ready then , with the kids to go to bersih at Townhall Sydney today at 2.00 pm local time. it was wonderful, lots of people about 250 had gathered in a orderly manner, songs , assembly and speeches. Lots echoing things that had been long said but completely disregarded by a very corrupt regime. It took 1 email and to Townhall to arrange this gathering, it would have been the same if we had a larger gathering..

Well look a the photo graphs, i saw A Yellow Sun, Yellow Train, Small Yellow dancing doll, Yellow looking drive way - interesting colors of a winter morning - wondering if Hishamuddin could ban these things

Green Party MP's addressed the assembly along with caring responsible malaysian who re echoed key clean and fair election message, Ambiga and the troops are rocking here in spirit. Brave people, the crowed was very grim when we heard of the 540 people arrested which included bersih leaders..

At the end at 330 pm we dispersed, 1 solitary police man was around just to ensure things are in order. We had a dinner before dispersing

Sandhya Vandhana

One of oldest form of workship, performed by Twice Born and Renunciate. It is actually for all if, is conducive harmony with yourself and losing oneself into vastness of Almighty of all around. i find the closest in substance and similar work ship is the American Red Indian work ship of all directions quite similar.

In this Sandhya, nature , simplest offering water, work ship to the great Rishis and most of all to The Almighty in form and formless finds is balanced as yin and yang. Sandhya,the time junction thrice a day, during sun rise, noon and sun set are the proper times. It is a easily natural time, and be deduced without even a watch, but just by being outside,aware and watchful.

Materials and Attitude:

A bowl of water, Offer with all your heart - even as the river flows downwards , so must your heart pour out.

Latest , we have two top x politicans being indicted - Probably an answer to India prosecuting one minister only...Tun Ling (x Transport ) and Dato Khir (x Cheif Mini of Selangor - richest state)

Tun Ling - we He ran a port scandal intially priced a RM 2 Billion , becoming 12 Billion and they lost count. he is being charged with , did he misled the cabinet

- who are we kidding, Tun Ling in his defense said the final evaluation came from Eval Department of Finance Ministry - so they will spend time verifying this, do some mock trial. Tun Maha will take the stand and said , nope due process was followed and case will be dismmissed with costs..

They would not go after mismanagement of funds, bloated cost, procurement process etc etc..i mean follow the money guys ..this will tell us the real RATS one at time

Dato Khir - this chap had many issues, but they are querying how he bought a RM 24 Million house and RM 3.5 millon. He declared they house was only RM 6 million. Some process also provide some estimate that this entirely Balinese Mani son(yes guys not house) is Probably RM 6 Million. Being Vegetarian - Sound Bites

this is something i fell strongly about

i) creating a non violent society or atleast minimizing violence

ii) creating a more sustainable society

Do become vegetarians , and beleive me there are so many food options being vegetarians and even if people cite you might run out of B12 vitamins or any other protien supplement

really with a good exercise regime and eating right

Being Vegetarian is the most sustainable habit out there - no two ways really

For Meat eaters - 90% of Humanity - really you are supporting violence at a very core level and creating farm lands , deforestation and Bio Gas Emisson , which contributory to Co2 levels which are unsustainble in long run...

For those who want to go deeper

i) the uric asid that accumlates due to Meat /seafood eating causes a lot of trouble in Human system in long run

ii) For those who want to be spiritual - trust me this is not just a hindu,jain or buddhist thing. it is really very christian and islamic as well - Christ Shared as a Prophet by Both relegion says " thou shalt not kill" - pretty clear - no exemptions cited really mate - but a lot of modern authors want to add and extrapolate something that is so plain and simple

It looks like Malaysia has made headlines again -Global Corruption Index , apparently we are up there at the top. They Put Amounts lost in the past 10 years around RM 300 billion. Wrong reason we are to be at the top

Somebody wrote something positive finally on turmoil and changes in Malaysia since the 2008 elections, ie there are more choices, and there is both awareness and contention with ruling BN on what People think Rights should be and demanding accountability. I think is this a well guarded view optimistic and cautious - do read up on both the corruption and this matter in www.malaysianinsider.com

In India , we see a cruxification of Shashi Tharoor a minister in the Indian Cabinet over his tweet " Cattle class, when referring to the economy class trip he recently had" poor chap . His own Party mates called for his resignation and received a rebuke form Sonia Gandhi. For those who are not familiar Sonia Gandhi is President of Congress Party and Even though Dr Manmohan Singh is PM, Sonia is de facto power behind the throne. And Dr Shashi Tharror is both a scholar and gentleman , formerly under secretary of the UN and accomplished writer and diplomat. Arguably the most suitable candidate INDIA ever could put up for the Sec Gen post .Did not get the job mainly due to US not backing the candidacy.

Well it interesting , that these great Indians in the Parliament took offence to Shashi reference due to cow being a sacred animal and most Indians could afford only the economy class and being below the cattle class was in their minds derogatory. Poor chappies...I wonder where was their unilateral calls when Arjun Singh HRD minister did not really create much jobs or only fiddled with Quota system in IIT and IIM and thereby reducing these esteemed institutions credibility somewhat..or when Thackeray clans continue to divide Mumbai in to Maharasthrian domain and non Maharastrian domain. Frankly India and most nation do have a lot of things which are both immediate intrest and of pride that some cattle class remark and in the scheme of pharses a standard indian uses Sala , Kuthe, Kamine and many other expletives and unmentionables..

Which comes to my point , Politics and politicians on the whole are sometimes Poor, Poor in character and bankrupt . they rather indulge in pitiful effort like these as long as there are guys for wasteful protest etc, they can garner votes using such trivia , rather than operate on platform which needs execution ability like fixing hospitals or schools

They also promote their children into politics as this is one field that does not need capital, skills etc to succeed , just fathers backing...

I would like to see one election in India , where 90% of all eligible voter voted with ticks and crosses on both opposition and ruling party - with a remark both are equally useless written boldly...there will be hung Parliament , but would make there lok sabha, rajya shabha would be think very very hard on why they exist.. Pure revolution - we need to think very deeply about this matter
what is the worst could happen, IAS and IPS and Judiciary runs the country, well these people slog , have qualifications and project management skills, Governess can sign bills , the country can go on really until 6 months or a year time from the date of hung Parliament , Communist , Congress, BJP and all other happy go lucky parties indulging in partisian politics and politicking need to comeback to people with compelling options

Unless there is pure revolution in thinking and acting something change cannot be forced

any way it all seems like wishful thinking..

In where i live, Sydney , Australia, 18 months ago Kevin Rudd swept aside John Howard to become PM. One of his immediate acts included apology to Stolen Generation, gathering 1000 bright Australian minds to provide a 100 great ideas amongst other things...

He has yet to let us know what these 100 are or even what he would do to implement even 1. My take is even if government allocated some money to execute 10 or 20 of these, it would result in betterment jobs, education etc and is measurable. Instead when economic crises came each tax payer got $800 which is mostly spend to pump the economy and more such cash handouts to come..seriously we need more creative thinking rather than spending ourselves out of this economic meltdown - my premise is best explained in another Blog below

So all these guys Malaysian Australian Indian Politicians - Nope Stunt Wallahs - no gumption to execute anything..

IF each member of tax payer , thinks and votes with eyes open, considering his or her decision carefully , then we all would see different action chief
1) we would not vote people below 35 who have not made anything of themselves at any level,,why would you seriously - otherwise we just got a talker a job nothing more really and boy do these guys talk - they can turn a chaste women into Harlots

2) Do not vote a guy or girl with no clear cut plan and measurable milestone which is easily communicated - again no plan means planned to fail and taxpayers do not need it

3) never ever vote anyone who uses terms like Government, I am minister etc, look for consistent vocabulary that i am your servant , we are doing public service, Seriously government should be replaced with Public Service ie service the tax payer and community. Teoh Beng Hock, Kugan , Francies and 10500 other have had mysterious custodial deaths and even well documented by Proper coroners report , we are unable to get justice.
BN government , could not ensure even a simple 4 subjects in English and 4 subjects in Bahasa Malaysia to preserve both languages and enhance both usage . If there is intrest I can write volumes in this subject to make kids bi or even tri linggual.

We could easily link it to the progressive We know the best attitude which they have built over the 52 years of their rule., where they are well convinced , which ever be the case they are set to rule for another 52 years. Again unless a roaring amount of Malaysian are around to change that, ie come out in PRU 13 in thores and chuck these guys out.
Seriously how much worse can Anwar and Pakatan do? If PR could not deliver 2013-2018, put the remaining opposition back into power. Picture this, if you threw out BN, there will be a complete revamp and now you have both a government and fighting opposition. And then turn it around again, you have the same scenario with Pakatan,.
Unless the voters are prepared for such moves, where is there an incentive for the politicians of the day to come up with better policies and work harder.
IF the next election Malaysia did not do the needful, you Nazi ism in a new bottle. Those who tookm the COW HEAD do not need too long to act more violently and nothing will be done by BN who want such issues to legitimize their position.
I need not reitrate the many peaceful protests police have broken up in the most violent manner.
Why not BN come up with referendum to understand and the encat policies? BN is not afraid to exert control .
WAKE UP MALAYSIA before is too late. Hopefully My laments do not go to a waste.

I am from Malaysian and Emigrated to Sydney Australia sometime back , born in Seremban , Hung around Teminang rasah , studied in Petaling jaya, later in Kuala lumpur , worked in Malaysia and Singapore (briefly) and now having visited some countries around the world decided to pitch "tent in sydney" - having a general interest in happening and reading frequently the regular sides like Malaysia kini, samachar, economist , financial times and etc etc

Well the world is deep shit - crudely put

What does Aust Do
- Declare more stimulus package, keep construction industry alive - current hole in the economy AUD 115 Billion, mind you titanic is yet to hit the bottom
What does Malaysia do
- So weeks ago they have RM 6 Billion package of rescue and a further RM 5 billion for Provident Fund to back the stock market particular government link companies
similar strategy - keep jobs alive, keep construction industry alive
what does America do
this is surely one the popular Internet pastime now with cnn and all
many many stimulus package s starting from USD 700 billion and they are giving more- saving banks etc

more or less - every body is doing similar actions
saving banks (depositor money they call it)
saving jobs and in particular key local industries like cars in America,wall street, in Malaysian stock exchange, construction , SME, in Australia - construction, cars as well

In Summary - every body wants to spend their way out of this trouble
Now simple questions
1) Are we spending wisely - some basic cushion to a soften the landing of economy is required - but some of bad investments will probably need the crash landing it deserves - example if in America , Obama gives back eg 100 B, but they have now take 30 B for top executive salaries, why did i not remove these guys within confines of existing law and then inject the required 100 B. In latter case i only have 70 B( as 30 B has gone into pocket)
2) Why is Malaysian for instance using Provident Fund money - hard earned money for retirement of people without question - have we wasted enough money in speculation - in Stock market, in For ex, In derivatives and other speculative methods and now are trying hard to plug the hole
3) How did we all collectively around the world land here in the first place
i) We speculated, on stocks , bonds and commodities
ii) bought and sold into the future '
eg 1 sack of rice is $10 today in 25 yrs time the trader say is it worth $100 based on project demand". Owing 25000 such bags sack of rice , backed by bank loan , i am now projected worth at 250000, and i had borrowed 150 000 from the bank
the plot now gets interesting
after collapse the sack of rice is now worth $4, mmmmm what did i actually lose $ 96 or $ 6 per sack. How much do i owe the bank.. Lets say i cannot pay - the bank can bankrupt but still not recuop the say - lets say the only 100 000

imagine in a day around the the financial markets around the world we have 10,000 such traction per country and 100 countries did this - so the world banks on collapse would have lost 100 x 100 000 x 10 000 = 1 00,000,000,000

Is it even now a wonder to us if NYSE lost US 7 trillion in those 2 short weeks

Now come back to individual - he lost (6 bucks in reality + interest ) x 25 000
Btw 150 000 to may a few quadruples to this and how many such traders are there

the point i am making : we lost really money chasing a factious value - if speculation was curbed restricting financial institutions and traders and investors from exceeding certain cap limits and having different stop , re group and re open market giving proper rest period btw turmoil - we might have limited the ability for such free fall but as one friend of mine put it " IT TAKES THE FUN OUT - WE CANNOT GET RICH QUICK"

But when did this happen - can there be fruits without Labour, with long sustained effort, backed by real goods , real services, a commodity trade able which can re coup if there was lesser activity in economic cycle

Well OUR GREED got the better of all us - many of our pensions funds are invested in such speculative instruments , backed by loans

and now we are wondering - if government gave packages , loans etc , may be can jump star the economy again

Well Sorry Mate: We need more leadership , especially thought leadership and the answer is not throwing more good resources and money are IL spent youth of Bad economist habits
